| Venture off the Beaten Track to Discover Some Great Music |
| Off the Beaten Track are a band who take an acoustic approach to their music, performing in
an accessible 'unplugged' format (we do use a P.A., however, so you will be
able to hear us!). Playing a combination of inventively arranged covers,
catchy original material and accessible folk songs, the band appeal to a
wide range of ages and musical tastes. Off the Beaten Track bring together
talented musicians and great singers with wonderful material. They combine
years of musical experience with a passion for what they do.
The Band Members Michèle Welborn (Vocals and Guitar) The possessor of a striking voice, Michèle's musical life began in the folk clubs of Huddersfield and the surrounding towns, where she learnt the art of holding an audience captive (but not tuning a guitar....!). In recent years she has fronted several bands and has released two CDs. She has sung at festivals, pubs, clubs and dedicated music venues. www.michele-welborn.com/pages/home/index.php Peter Webster (Vocals, Guitar and Harmonica) Peter has played in bands since he was a teenager. His musical experience includes singing at festivals, performing at weddings, playing pub gigs, folk clubs and dedicated music venues, such as the Mean Fiddler. www.myspace.com/peterjwebster Ross Fergusson (Guitar) Ross has played in bands since he was a student.
Ross frequently performs at local music pubs and clubs, sometimes solo and
